Bindora helps users scan paper documents, extract useful information locally, review or correct detected fields, organize documents into folders, create reminders, and retrieve documents later.
Bindora is currently a local-first app. At this stage, Bindora does not rely on its own backend server to store your documents in the cloud.

3.2 Information not intended to be sent to analytics services
Bindora is designed so that sensitive document content is not intended to be sent to Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or Performance Monitoring. In particular, Bindora does not intend to send the following document content to analytics systems:

Bindora may collect limited analytics, technical, and usage data to understand how the app is used, improve product quality, detect crashes, and measure performance. Examples include app version, device platform, screen views and navigation events, high-level usage events (scan started, scan completed, reminder created, document opened), technical status indicators, and crash/error diagnostics. These analytics events are designed to avoid transmitting sensitive document content.
Bindora may display ads through Google AdMob in the free version of the app. Ads are intended to remain limited and should not appear on sensitive or critical screens such as document scanning, OCR processing, field validation, document details, or reminder creation flows. Premium users may have ads removed depending on the purchased offer. AdMob and its partners may process advertising-related data according to their own policies and applicable law. Where required, Bindora may request consent before serving personalized ads.
Bindora may offer one-time purchases or other paid features managed through RevenueCat and the relevant app store billing system. To provide premium access, restore purchases, and manage entitlements, purchase-related technical data may be processed by RevenueCat and the platform store provider. Bindora does not directly process your full payment card details.
Depending on your location and applicable law, Bindora may process information on the following legal bases: to perform the service you request when using the app; to pursue legitimate interests such as improving app reliability, security, and usability; based on your consent, where consent is required, especially for certain analytics or advertising activities; to comply with legal obligations.
Bindora is designed to store documents and related metadata locally on your device. The app also includes security measures intended to protect locally stored data. However, no software or device environment can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for securing access to your device, including the use of device passcodes, biometric protection, and system updates where available.
Bindora does not sell your personal data. Bindora may share limited data with third-party service providers only to the extent necessary to operate analytics, diagnostics, advertising, purchases, or legal compliance, including: Google Firebase services; Google AdMob; RevenueCat; Apple App Store and Google Play billing systems; other service providers or authorities where required by law.
Documents and reminders stored locally remain on your device until you delete them, uninstall the app, or remove the app data using your device settings. Analytics, diagnostics, ad-related, or purchase-related data processed by third-party providers may be retained according to their own retention policies and legal obligations.
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including rights to access, delete, restrict, object, or request portability of certain data, as well as the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Because Bindora is primarily local-first, much of your document data remains directly under your control on your device. Bindora is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use the service without parental authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal data in violation of applicable law, please contact us.
Some third-party providers used by Bindora may process data outside your country of residence. Where applicable, such providers are responsible for implementing appropriate safeguards under relevant privacy laws.
